Perisse Frères was a publishing firm in France, active from 1760 until the 1880s. Early marginalia, notes on endpapers and verso of half title, two small damp stains to front free endpaper and fly leaves, small tear to foot of rear pastedown. Small chip to spine tail, joints splitting; wear to edges and tips, corners bumped, some chaffing to boards, otherwise a very good copy. Amédée-François Frézier (1682 -1773) was a French military engineer. His groundbreaking text on fireworks building includes instructions on how to make them, showing various sizes and parts for formal and leisurely gatherings.
