Mary Arnold-Foster (1861-1951) was the wife of British politician Hugh Oakley Arnold Foster, who served as Secretary of State for War in 1903-5. Their eldest son, William (1886-1951), an artist, writer, and labour politician, was married to Katherine "Ka" Laird Cox (1887-1938) in 1918 and was the former lover of 1st World War poet Rupert Brooke (1887-1915).
