Text in Portuguese. Illustrated half-title page. Numerous illustrations in-text, and [4] folding illustrations. Presentation copy inscribed to Fire Marshall of Ontario, W.J. Scott, Q.C. on verso of half-title and fly-title, on November 3, 1959, in Lisboa Portugal, by Col. Luis Rubeiro, Viana, Comandante do Batalhade Sopadores Bombeiros. This firefighters manual covers fire prevention and extinction, water supply, the elements of civil construction, and other important knowledge for prevention. Some wear to corners and edges. Boards scuffed, rubbed. Small stain along the outer edge of upper rear board. Otherwise interior clean. A very good copy.
