Percy Erskine Nobbs [1875-1964] was a prominent Canadian Architect who designed several of Montreal's heritage buildings. He taught architecture at McGill University in 1903, where he inspired the author. MacDonald completed his degree with honours from McGill in 1911. Diagram of the first fort at Sturgeon glued to front pastedown. Stamp of Greenwood Library on front free endpaper. Some spotted stains to boards. Light rubbing to edges. Spine slightly tilted. Some sporadic stains throughout, else a very good copy. George Heath MacDonald [1882-1961] was an architect in Edmonton, Alberta whose buildings include The Edmonton Public Library, University Hospital, the Federal Building and more than a hundred projects throughout Edmonton. He was a partner in the architectual firm of Magoon and MacDonald.
