Includes 28 dialogues, or conversations, between Plato and Fenelon, Mr. Addison and Dr. Swift, Pliny the Elder and Pliny the Younger, and Plutarch, Charon and a Modern Bookseller, among other philosophical and political dialogues. The last three dialogues were written by Elizabeth Robinson Montagu. Rubbing to edges. Corners worn at tips. Front and rear joint cracked. A small chip to spine head. Damp stains to endpapers.
