Limited Edition privately printed for the Dutch Treat Club. This is copy No. 243 of eight hundred copies. Original quarter-cloth over pictorial boards. Year printed on paper spine label. Illustrated endpapers. 89 p.p., plus colophon. Illustrated throughout with comic strips and sketches by D.T. Club members. Containing articles, poems, and creative writing from club members, with a membership list towards the end of the book. Front board dampstained, with soiling to quarter-cloth and edges of boards. Light rubbing to spine-ends and joints. Roughly cut edges. Some sporadic stains, smudges to pages. Light foxing. Else in very good condition. The Dutch Treat Club was found in New York City in 1905 as a luncheon club for creative types, whose membership has included artists, writers, actors and entertainers. Since the 1920's, The D.T.C. began printing an annual yearbook for its members.
