Some sunning to wraps. Roughly cut edges, with some uncut. Foxing throughout. A treatise advocating compulsory military training for all Englishmen. The author's uncle, Sir Edmund Knyvett, was a Sargeant-Porter to King Henry VIII, and his brother Thomas, Lord Knyvett of Esrick, took a prominent part in the exposure of the Gunpowder Plot.
