Tan cloth boards with navy lettering to spine and falcon and ankh device to front board. Ex libris sticker to FFEP. Spine ends very lightly bumped, and corners bumped at tail, else a fine copy. Colour illustrated dust jacket with photo of Tutankhamun's golden coffin has bumping and wear to spine ends and corners, a few dents and small patches of wear, perforation to rear joint. The present, much revised edition contains two new chapters and as many as 40 new colour plates. In surveying 3000 years of Egyptian art, it reveals the inter-relationship of architecture, sculpture, painting, and goldsmiths' work.
