Illustrated green card wraps with yellow and black lettering. Spine is sunned. Reviews from fellow poets Earle Birney and Al Purdy printed on card stapled to front endpaper. In-text illustrations throughout. "Joe Rosenblatt emerged in Toronto December 26, 1933. Suffocated in Toronto since then." He eventually made it out to Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island, and he passed away in March 2019. He won Canada's Governor-General's Award and British Columbia's B.C. Book Prize for poetry. He was a talented artist, whose line drawings, paintings, and sketches often illustrate his own and other poets' books. This was his first book of poetry.
