Half bound contemporary calf over brown marbled boards, title and gilt tooling on spine with an all-seeing-eye device at spine head, 359 pp. (incl. index), with [18] engraved headpieces illustrating biblical scenes. Light foxing and staining to leaves, tear to outer margins of pp. 285-88 (not affecting text), corners worn, with wear to boards and edges, small tear to lower front joint, but otherwise a very good copy.
