Original cloth-backed boards, title lettered on front board, spine unlettered, 168 pp., with [41] engravings by Henry Brown after drawings by important Dutch artists as well as numerous in-text illustrations, including head and tail pieces and illustrated initials. Foxing, dampstaining to leaves (affecting pp. 132-168] and stain between pp. 28-29 (transfering to lower half of engraved plate), corners and edges worn with small chips to extremities, boards somewhat soiled but still a good copy.
