David Gallandat (1732-1782) was a Swiss medical surgeon who was appointed as Ooperator of the Province of Zeeland and as a Lecturer in Surgery and Midwifery in Vlissingen (Biographical Dictionary of the Netherlands, Vol. 7, 1862].
