Featuring [4] engravings, and a title-vignette. Small rubber stamps in lower margins of Cardiff Public Libraries, untrimmed edges, with some light foxing. Corners and edges worn, with soiling to boards but in fact very good. British Oriental Scholar Rev. Thomas Maurice (1754-1824) was noted for his studies in history and antiquities. Thomas was appointed Assistant Librarian at the British Museum.
