Scarce. Original cream cloth, decorated with gilt to front cover. Unlettered spine. Unpaged. Red ribbon closure (front ribbon detached but present, rear intact). Fully illustrated in colour. Cloth is soiled, cockled at rear board. Offsetting to endpapers. An alphabet book with children's names, written and illustrated by Georgie Gaskin (1866-1934), who along with her illustrator husband Arthur Gaskin went on to teach at the Birmingham School of Art. The Gaskins also worked together to produce jewellery.
