Light rubbing to calf, a few small damp stains to cloth at front and rubbing to front and rear. Indentations to calf at head of rear joint. Some foxing and age toning. Light cracking to hinges. A short copy. Isaac Watts was an English Christian minister and prolific and popular hymn writer. He is credited with writing the lyrics for Joy to the World in 1719. This is an excerpt from Johnson's longer Lives of the Most Eminent English Poets, written between 1779 and 1781. 0.
