Chapters on therapies, materia medica (pharmacy) and special medicines for the nursing staff at the Hotel Dieu. Hotel Dieu, founded in 1645, was the first hospital founded in Montreal, Quebec. Between 1901-1970, it had an affiliated nursing school.
