Very Good. Mentioned in Howes R288 and Eberstadt III:519]. This is a sympathetic account in which the author condems the U.S. Military for its actions against Native Americans. The Riggs were missionaries who worked to evangelize the Dakota Indians, and made lasting connections in the Sioux community.
