Pink quarter-cloth spine, lettered in gray, light blue boards titled in green, color illustration laid-on lower front board, 64pp,frontispiece, plus [10] illustrated color plates in relief, owner inscription on front free end-paper, rubber stamp on front paste-down, smudging and foxing to text-block, a small tear at margin of pp. 55 [however text unaffected], small damp stain on lower rear board, edges worn and frayed at spots, some small nicks along top edge, spine rubbed and faded. Very Good. A beautiful example of early 20th century animal and fairy stories for children.
